Running in Athletics has many facets.

Most people will be familiar with the 100m and 200m races, as well as the 400m, 800m, 1,500m, 3,000m, 5,000m, 10,000m, half-marathon and marathon.

Most people are also familiar with hurdling.  There are Sprint Hurdles and 400m Hurdles.  Less well known, but popular in other countries, are 200m Hurdles.

Many will be familiar with the 60m indoor sprints and hurdles and some people also know about the slight variants run within different age/gender groups.

Of course there is much more to running than these events alone:

.....to name but a few.
